For over 20 years, we have been working in fine Spanish restaurants all over the world and we now have the opportunity to work in our very own Tapas Restaurant in Edinburgh. In our atmospheric wee spanish restaurant, we focus on exemplary service, great Spanish gastronomy and creating a traditional and humble Spanish dining experience. Jamon Masterclass!

Every Thursday @ 6pm, The Black Hoof hosts a Jamon Masterclass where you can learn about, taste and experience the finest cured meats in the world. Kevin will guide you through the different types, characteristics and will show you the best ways to enjoy all the kinds of  Jamon and fine Spanish Cured Meats: Such as Pata Negra, Acorn Fed Iberico Ham ShoulderIberico HamLomo, Lomito, Chorizo and Salchichon.

This Jamon Masterclass is an opportunity to expand your knowledge of Spanish gastronomy and have a night to remember. The Black Hoof Masterclass is held in the Spanish Restaurant Edinburgh (Dalry Road) and is only £10 per person and is currently BYOB. Ibérico Ham Masterclass Details:

Consists of a 30 min Masterclass where you will learn to appreciate and differentiate the different types of Jamón Ibérico plus the tasting of all Jamones and Finest Cured Meats. £10 per person.

The Masterclass Gift Pack:
Ibérico Ham Masterclass + Gift Bag with a selection of the finest products. £25 per person.

Masterclass and Dinner:
Ibérico Ham Masterclass + Tapas Experience Menu afterwards. £25 per person.

The Masterclass Full Experience:
All of the above! £40 per person.

First Masterclass is Thursday the 1st of March 2018 at 6 pm and every Thursday after.

Jamon Iberico – Iberico Ham

Here at The Black Hoof, we offer the very best Jamon Iberico in the world. Even the exclusive Pata Negra Ham. Over the years we have made friendships with Jamon producers from the 4 Iberian Districts where Jamon Iberico is produced: Extremadura, Guijuelo, Jabugo and Valle de los Pedroches. From these producers, we have a selection of Jamones, including the world-famous Black Label Jamon Iberico De Bellota. With all this experience we were privileged to open our little Edinburgh Spanish Restaurant. Come along and try, buy and share with your loved ones!
