From each pig only 2 pieces of between 700 grams and 800 grams are obtained. That’s why it is so exclusive and valued. This piece is especially exquisite since it is a very tender, streaky meat, coming from pigs fed in Dehesas. From a nutritional point of view, the fat in these products is high in oleic acid, which helps reduce cholesterol and triglycerides.
How to cook Presa Iberica
The Presa Iberica can be prepared in any way, although a low cooking point is appreciated so that it can be served straight away. It is a fibrous and very nutritious meat, with exceptional juiciness, so with very simple preparations we can enhance the original quality of the piece and achieve an outstanding result.
Before you buy
Our Iberico Pork will be delivered on ice pads. If you are not cooking it straight away, store in the freezer. Thaw it in the fridge for at least 24 hours before cooking for best results.
